The aim of the study was to improve results treatment patients with descending purulent mediastinitis by means individualized surgical tactics priority use minimally invasive interventions and developed methods drainage mediastinum pleural cavity. Examination 73 receiving in department thoracic surgery Ivano-Frankivsk regional clinical hospital carried out.
